Hi everyone,
I’m Donna, the Mom of a young (32 yrs) man who has severe CP and medical complexity. Our Nicholas lived with us at home until age 23 when he moved into a nearby medical group home. He has a great life with 1:1 nursing around the clock. I do a lot of work in the caregiving area – feel free to visit my blog at The Caregivers’Living Room (www.donnathomson.com) and my facebook group page by the same name. I am always learning from other caregivers and parents of children with disabilities. I am a great fan of Dr. Eboni Green and her work on balancing care and employment. Happy to be here.
